The schematic calls for either of two chips for the FDX driver (8-pin).
The DS8921, available from Jameco, is an older chip that uses a good
deal more power than the MAX3467, available from Digikey.

I am strongly recommending the MAX3467 because of its low current draw
when idle. Sourcing this part is a problem.

P.S.: Photo of the modular connectors on the type of cable needed for
the twisted-pair FDX link. This is not a data cable, but a voice cable,
which is required for FDX communication. Note the order of the colored
wires on the two ends: K,R,G,Y to Y,G,R,K. This photo is of a standard
2-line telephone (voice) cable: 6P4C.
