Hi All,

Have my DSKY up and running. I didn't have the correct displays, so I
knobbled this together. This is RomWBW at the boot prompt:

And with the correct displays now:

Now just need to work the software out. It seems like the pdf document on
the wiki is outdated, or RomWBW works with the DSKY slightly differently...

After some experimentation, I have found that the Boot prompt on the DSKY
is a little different to the documentation.

I can get to the -CPU UP- prompt by pressing GO, and I can boot from C & E
by selecting those letters, but every other key produces an Invalid Key
message on the serial console.

Hi Wayne,

It has been a while since I used my DSKY. Let me play with mine a bit today and get back to you.

I assume you have built a custom ROM with DSKY enabled.

When you get to the CPU UP prompt, can you then use the monitor functions like reading and writing bytes of memory?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Yes, once I get to the CPU UP prompt by pressing the GO button, it works
reading and writing to memory as per Dans document. It just appears the
boot menu is different. I'll do some testing tonight and post the steps
I've done.

OK, good. Yes, the boot menu is different under RomWBW. I never
documented that. However, once you get to the CPU UP prompt, it should be
as originally documented.

I will try to get the boot menu documented for RomWBW.

Thanks,

Wayne
