FYI, I just received a parts EOL notice from Digi-Key on the 74ALS646 chip
from TI. This chip is used in the Dual-IDE boardŠ.not sure if it¹s used in
any other boards.

Many of the parts used on the Retro boards are no longer
manufactured.&nbsp; However, large inventories of glue chips exist among
many suppliers, especially those in the Far East.&nbsp; More worrisome is
the limited availability of some of the larger chips; e.g., 6583,
uPD7220, MC68030RC, ... <br>

I agree. It should be no problem sourcing for a while. This is what keeps Unicorn and Rochester Electronics going.
