Hi!

Good news! The ECB SBC-188 and ECB mini-68K SBC PCBs have arrived! Here is
your chance to build your own 80C188 and/or 68K based SBC for the ECB bus!

The PCBs will be $20 each as per the usual arrangement. Shipping in the US
is $3 for a single PCB and $2 for each additional PCB. Shipping
internationally is $10 for a single PCB and $3 for each additional PCB.
This is for the bare basics USPS first class postage with no tracking or
insurance. The builder assumes all risk of delivery as per usual
arrangement.

Please send a PayPal to LYNCHAJ-***@public.gmane.org with the subject "ECB SBC-188" or
"ECB mini-68K" and I will reserve your board(s).

Thanks and have a nice day!

Hi! Thanks Max for the reminder! Yes, the ECB mini-68K is sort of paired
with the ECB MF/PIC and includes a free NS32202 interrupt controller chip.
You definitely want both.

Similar for the ECB SBC-188 you'll want the ECB 4MEM board to go with it.
Like the ECB mini-68K the ECB SBC-188 will function without it but there are
enough reasons to get it that you'll want it eventually.

These are not "hard" dependencies but rather "soft" dependencies between the
boards - it is something you'll want but not absolutely need. Fortunately
the MF/PIC and 4MEM are generally useful boards and will compliment any ECB
CPU board regardless.

I hope this helps! Thanks and have a nice day!

Andrew,

Correction: the Mini-68K requires the MF/PIC board. The space on the CPU
board is occupied by 2Mb of RAM. All communication & peripherals are on
the MF/PIC board. This is definitely a matched pair.

The SBC-188 is fairly complete in itself; but it only has 512K of memory.
To fill out the memory to 640K, the 4MEM board is a good idea. The rest
of 4MEM memory is also useful as a fast RAMDISK; it has battery backup
ports (2 of 'em). MSDOS 5.00 and 6.22 recognize the existing battery
backed RAMDISK after a power-down.
