Finishing up my board, wondering about jumper settings for the following
jumpers:
K1
K2
K3
K4
K5
P5

I will be testing the board with an SBC-188.

Thanks,

Andrew B

I got everything set up, but no luck so far with the Color VDU

I have - 12-slot ECB backplane, SBC-188 rev 2.0-007, 4MEM 1.0.003, Color
VDU rev 2.0-007, 1 1.44MB floppy drive

I have the BIOS 043 ANSI (serial terminal) installed on my SBC-188. I am
trying to run the M8563.com test program from the
"CVDU-188-TestPrograms.ZIP" file, but I am seeing the following odd
behavior:
-If I *do not* have the CVDU board in the backplane, the SBC-188 works
fine, I can boot MS-DOS 6.22, swap floppies to a floppy with the CVDU test
programs on it, and run the test program (which finds no board, of course)
-When I plug in the CVDU board, the SBC-188 goes super unstable. The DIR
command failed after boot and gave a
-Removing the CVDU board makes everything work fine again.

Do I need to have the CVDU version of the BIOS on my SBC-188 to even test
the board? Or am I missing something else? I was hoping to test the CVDU
from my working serial terminal configuration, it didn't seem to me like
there would be any reason for this not to work.....
