All,
The 6x0x boards should be finishing fabrication on 7/7/14 and based on
DHL's delivery speed to me on the left coast here I expect to have the
boards on ~7/10/14. At which point I will post some pictures for everyone
and generate PayPal Invoices for all the folks who ordered to pay for their
boards.
One request - I've used the Zeta documentation page as a template and
created the skeleton of a documentation page for the 6x0x board at
- http://n8vem-sbc.pbworks.com/w/page/82119161/ECB%206x0x-ATX-6U
Since I did not build one of the prototype boards, it would be very useful
to me if the folks who did build the Rev 008 prototypes could review the
documentation page and provide any inputs. Especially the IC selection and
software sections. You can either edit the page directly or send an email
with what you want added and I'll do it.
We are going to have 65 of these boards out in the wild (and I will be
collecting names for a 2nd batch as well if there is demand) and I'd really
like to have the highest quality documentation possible to go with them.
Andrew L., John C. and the prototype builders put a lot of work into this
board and I expect it to be a new flagship of the N8VEM project. I'm
really just honored to be able to get them made and distributed to everyone.
Thanks,
Andrew B
