Discussion:
[N8VEM: 16261] Zeta 26 pin stackable header

I was reading the group last night and stumbled across a discussion about stackable headers for the Zeta 26 pin parallel port, in reference to adding another card under the para-prop board. I wondered if this, sourced for the Raspberry Pi's 26 pin header and seemingly compatible with the soldering holes in my Zeta boards, would solve that problem?

Jim,

It looks like that connector will work with Zeta/ParPortProp. I used a
slightly different one (without long pins), but you can always cut pins if
needed. You can also use a couple of these connectors and stuck another
board on top - ParPortProp only uses 2 of 3 8-bit ports of 82C55. And some
people came up with interesting uses for the remaining port - e.g.
connecting a DAC for speech synthesizing.

Thanks,
Sergey
