VERY interesting. I've got a "metric butt-load" of floppies (which is
smaller than an imperial butt-load :-) ) of floppies in the closet that I
could stuff on a USB drive and know that they're "safe"
(still would have to index them or some such, so that I know DIsk #595 is
X). I'd have to get a 2-floppy machine set up to be able to image them
(but I'm definitely going to consider this...)

p.s. There are a bunch of these (some BIN, some auction) if you search for
them on e-bay

another floppy formats too.
